Hands Wide Open — two open hands holding a house with three people. Deut 15:8.

Open your hand freely.

A 501(c)(3) thrift store and daily worship house in Garland, Texas. Coffee on the table. Scripture in the room. Hands open to whoever walks in.

Deuteronomy 15:8

But you shall open your hand freely to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be.

Some people will not walk into a sanctuary. They will walk into coffee. We keep both on the table.

The House

Daily worship at 8 a.m.

A storefront that opens every morning. Music, the Word, a few chairs, and whoever came. Come as you are. Stay for coffee. Leave when you need to.

The Thrift

What someone still needs.

Clothes, furniture, household goods with life left in them. Priced so a neighbor can walk out with what they need. If you have something to give, we will sort it. If you need something, we will help you find it.

The morning

Same hour. Same chairs.

  1. 6:30 The team gathers. Lights, coffee, a sweep of the floor. Prayer without a microphone.
  2. 8:00 Music. Simple. Enough to open a room.
  3. 8:30 The Word. Read and sat with.
  4. 8:45 Close. The thrift opens. The house stays a house.

Welcome

Whoever walks in is welcome.

No testimony at the door. No attendance. A chair, a cup, a verse if you will hear it, and help if you need it. That is the work.

Get involved.

Visit. Give. Serve. All three count.
